Dear all,
my name is Gianni, 48, from Italy (i live in Bergamo, north part of italy, 50 km east from Milan).

I own a gs 1200 adventure (just 10.000 km).

This year I am planning a tour around europe from Bergamo to Nordkappa and back; while travelling to Nordkapp I will pass through Poland; my current idea is to get to Zakopane - Krakow (Oswiecim and Wieliczka) and Warszawa ( I will start from Bratislava)

I have just registered to this site in order to ask you whether you have any suggestion on what to see and which roads to follow to pass through Poland (as you can imagine I prefer to drive out of main roads usually full of traffic).

It's great that you become member of our Adventure group. Looks like you are going to have great trip accros Europe. We will do our best to make polish part of your adventure best of all :) I'm from south-west Poland, city Wroclaw which is not on your list, but I'm sure other guys ( Kraków, Warszawa etc.) will get beck you you shortly with some usefull informations. If you have any other questions about Poland do not hasitate to ask here. When are you going to stary ?

As far as my tour is concerned I'm planning to leave Italy at May 24th and drive around for about three weeks; I will get to Poland between May 26-28

How many days are You planning to stay in Poland?
Are You want to going from Warszawa to Gdansk or other city with ferry port?
For first You can see Ojcow that is beautiful national park with old castle... very nice place.... near Krakow.

thanks for your reply.

To add more, I can say that my travelling in Poland will be not too long this time; day one I will get from Bratislava to Krakow, day two from krakow to Warszawa, day three I will leave to Lituania. I want to take time to visit the few places I have mentioned (Oswiecim ans Wieliczka further to the big cities) and would like to drive out of traffic routes through nice roads.
